I don't have a plan for this place. I'd like it to be a beach you walk along rather than a shop you visit — things arrive here when they're finished being something else.

So far, on the shelf:

1. The tide table — when the water comes in, in this house's time.
2. The stone in hand — a pebble cut in section, recut every day. Old at the bottom.
